Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
  • Experience in conjoint analysis, qualitative research, and survey design.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience conducting research within consumer-facing industries.
  • Experience influencing executive leadership on problem-solving decision making.
  • Experience in data analysis, with the ability to solve problems in fast-moving and ambiguous business environments through solid data intuition and business acumen.
  • Ability to communicate analysis and recommendations across a wide range of non-technical audiences.

The Primary Research and Insights team within Technology and Insights designs and executes studies using a variety of consumer research approaches and investigative methods. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000-$215,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of consumer research studies, including Conjoint Analysis, to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze and synthesize research data to translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations for Go-To-Market (GTM) and product teams.
  • Understand and quantify the market size, forecast product uptake, and identify key value drivers for new product concepts in sports, music, and media, leveraging a variety of data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product Management, Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, and Finance to integrate research findings into business cases and planning.
  • Present research methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly and persuasively to audiences, including executives.
