Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber security, business strategy, or related fields.
- 1 year of experience in people management, leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, regulations, escalations, or related fields.
- Ability to work non-standard work weeks as escalations needed.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders based in market and global stakeholder.
- Excellent influencing and executive communication skills with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. As the Market Responsibility lead for the market, you will be responsible for leading initiatives in support of a number of cross-functional and vertical programs focused on engagement with stakeholders across YouTube to ensure that Trust and Safety manages its most sensitive decisions accurately, efficiently, and smoothly and maintains high operational readiness for sensitive events in market.
Also, you will be engaging with cross-functional teams to grow Trust and Safety’s understanding of regional and local trends and risks on YouTube and monitor trends and intelligence sources. You will be ensuring our enforcement guidelines are informed by your market understanding. You will be collaborating consistency across Trust and Safety’s effort to support elections worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Monitor sources, work with cross-functional teams, and leverage contacts to identify abuse trends in the market, monitor emerging sensitive events, support sensitive escalations and election/major event readiness and highlight risks to the YouTube ecosystem and Trust and Safety.
- Coordinate across markets and global teams to drive consistency into Trust and Safety’s approach to supporting elections worldwide.
- Ensure connectivity among stakeholders to support evolution of Trust and Safety’s approach to landing sensitive enforcement decisions.
- Triage threats, prepare risk assessments, and action plans based on market knowledge, including regional events and escalations, and act as the point of contact.
- Be exposed to controversial or upsetting content.
