Technical Solution Consultant, Product Lifecycle Management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering or technical consulting, and 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
  • 5 years of experience in designing and integrating PLM/Teamcenter solutions with third-party applications.
  • 5 years of experience in ITK extensions, workflows, ACL management, and DevOps automation.
  • 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter PDM/PLM implementations and cloud infrastructure management.
  • 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or in a related field.
  • 8 years of Teamcenter experience.
  • Experience in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for deploying and scaling PLM solutions.
  • Experience in ITK, Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, with developing extensions, workflow handlers, and services.
  • Knowledge of PLM servers/APIs, RDBMS, and infrastructure scaling frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, fostering creativity, and driving operational efficiency.

The Idea to Offer (I2O) team's mission is to deliver industry-leading systems and infrastructure solutions that drive digitization, streamline the organization of product data and tools. In this role, your goal is to empower business with cutting-edge system solutions, robust infrastructure, and the best of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-led Services, all built on a platform that prioritizes simplicity, security, and scalability. You will enhance and support Teamcenter solutions for Google Hardware teams. This role involves driving improvements to hardware design and manufacturing processes while managing the cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize Siemens Teamcenter solutions, manage the configuration, installation, maintenance, and ongoing support of Teamcenter PLM application, including integrations with CAD applications.
  • Manage, optimize and support cloud infrastructure for Teamcenter, leveraging GCP technologies to ensure scalability, high availability, and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver tailored solutions, providing direct implementation and configuration expertise.
  • Design robust application architectures, including microservices and scalable frameworks, while aligning with development best practices.
  • Author and review technical documentation, drive design/code reviews, and identify opportunities to enhance functionality with cloud technologies.
