Strategy and Operations Manager, Partner Ecosystem and Channels

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in management consulting, internal corporate strategy, sales operations, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate advisory, or similar experience.
  • Experience with spreadsheet analysis capabilities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience working with senior executives on strategy and analytical insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior cross-functional stakeholders and partners, and influence executive decision making while navigating complex organizational dynamics.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and slide communications skills.
  • Intermediate SQL or advanced spreadsheet analysis skills.

The Google Cloud Partner Ecosystem and Channels organization is responsible for driving the overall strategy and execution of Google Cloud's partner ecosystem to enable rapid customer acquisition, accelerated business consumption growth, and customer outcomes. The team manages Google Cloud's relationships across a wide spectrum of partner segments, including Global Systems Integrator (GSI), Sell and Services Partners, Internet Software Vendors (ISV), Third-Party Marketplaces, Resellers, Managed Service Providers, and Partner Engineering/Product Technical Partnership firms.

As a member of the Google Cloud Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team aligned to the Partner Ecosystem and Channels organization, you will be working closely with VP/executive level stakeholders across global and regional operating units to define and implement Google Cloud’s strategic priorities for the partner ecosystem. Partners are a strategic bet for Google Cloud and all major partner initiatives have ongoing visibility with the Cloud CEO and senior Go-To-Market leadership staff. You should expect to work on highly visible, important and complex initiatives, and will work across all layers of the organization from the senior VP leaders to partner managers in the field to develop targeted strategies to leverage partners to accelerate sales and services for cloud products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop Go-To-Market strategies, advisory recommendations, and strategic business plans for the VP of Global Partner Ecosystem, Channels, and Global/Regional Partner Ecosystem leadership. 
  • Use advanced data analysis capabilities to analyze performance trends across the Cloud partner ecosystem and develop analytical insights reports on key trends.
  • Define and implement large-scale complex strategic initiatives to drive major changes across the Partner organization by working closely with Finance, HR, Recruiting, Systems, Marketing, and Communications stakeholders to execute priorities.
  • Work with business leaders to craft enablement programs to land people, processes, and tooling changes with partner managers, sellers, customers, and partners.
  • Manage core business operations for the Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels organization (e.g., run of business, OKRs, headcount planning, communications, budgeting, chief of staff).
