  • Experience in working as a creator, or with creators or partners within the creative ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with long-form video, short-form, live, and podcasting content on YouTube and across platforms.
  • Experience in using SQL or data analytics tools to deliver insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the creative and business spaces.
  • Experience in consumer internet and media industries.
  • Excellent investigative, communication and presentation skills with the ability to operate in a changing and collaborative environment.

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.

The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance.

The Content Strategy team focuses on the development of best practices and resources that empower YouTube creators to maximize their success on the platform.

In this role, you will work across products (e.g., Supers, Living Room), creation formats (e.g., Shorts, Live, Podcasts), and verticals (e.g., Creator, Music, Media), using a mix of content expertise and performance data to develop strategies, product narratives, and tools. You will leverage subject matter expertise to analyze content and craft partner-focused best practices materials. You will collaborate in product and business strategies, working as an integral member with YouTube’s Product and partnerships teams. Responsibilities

  • Develop best practices and materials to support YouTube product launches and educate on partner priorities.
  • Represent creators and partners feedback to influence product roadmaps, business strategy, and company narratives with the focus on the needs of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
  • Be a product expert with the ability to analyze data by SQL, YT analytics, and internal tools, and deliver insights.
  • Drive operational excellence, develop new processes, workflows, and tooling that improve overall team efficiency. Prepare effective presentations and written communications for executives and global teams.
  • Act as a project owner, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Public Relation, Trust and Safety) to secure all necessary approvals on external-facing resources.
