Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy or program management, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with global business operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Experience in Mobile apps or games background.
  • Experience with analytics, SQL.
  • Ability to influence and thrive in a changing, fluid and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions with attention to details and execution and to represent and advocate business or technical concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As part of the Platform and Devices team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping the product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy a game or ebook on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Play Store serves over two billion users around the world, and is a critical driver of Google’s overall business growth. The Play Partnerships team works with the developers that are the lifeblood of this ecosystem. The content, games and apps they create bring Android devices to life. The team’s mission is to help developers grow their businesses on the Android platform, and help ensure new products and features succeed in large part because of the developers that make those experiences shine for users.

The Play Strategy and Operations team is the central nervous system for Play Partnerships. We work to define strategy, drive operations, find new ways to create value, provide analytics, insights and tools.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational for the Play Partnerships organization through management of the global business operations including planning and objectives and key results (OKR) setting and tracking.
  • Help co-develop strategies for the global Play partnerships team and help bring those to life through communication and operations.
  • Be proactive in creating programs and processes to solve business operations issues, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life.
  • Co-develop and land cross-functional projects and initiatives, liaising across business development, analytics, legal, finance, etc.
  • Communicate insights to executive leadership by preparing and delivering executive-ready materials.
