Senior Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales (Swedish, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as required.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a Business related field.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience in strategically assessing and achieving client success using business techniques such as effective questioning, objection handling, and promoting.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies or clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

As a Mid-Market Sales (MMS) Account Strategist, you will be a front-line seller who understands clients business goals and improves campaign performance. You will drive thoughtful adoption of Google products and build short- term and medium-term strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. Your expertise in online media, combined with communication and investigative skills, will enable you to design media strategies aligned with customer objectives. By leveraging your influencing and relationship-building abilities, you will deliver Google-caliber solution business, partnership management, and achieve successful business outcomes. You will help uncover the business needs of Google's key clients, driving incremental business agreements through our industry-leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quarterly business and product growth goals. Oversee stakeholder management and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
  • Own a portfolio of medium-size and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement. Pitch and consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets. 
  • Drive customer growth by delivering an outstanding business experience and achieving customer business and marketing goals.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of Google advertising products and how they can be utilized to meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
