Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales, media account management, and achieving goals to drive client growth.
  • Experience working with and communicating effectively with advertisers, agencies, or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in consulting, entrepreneurship, or digital marketing, executing multi-quarter strategies.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs through sales techniques, effective questioning and data-driven insights that support proposals and analyze impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of businesses to understand their business issues, marketing objectives and success metrics.
  • Build credibility with C-level clients and executive partners as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
  • Structure joint strategies between Google and clients, and lead cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and success.
  • Analyze business growth drivers and risks to create multi-quarter plans, presenting Google solutions that align with client goals.
  • Develop data-driven insights and actionable recommendations, quantifying high-impact opportunities for clients.
