About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Program Manager on this team, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects working directly with product teams and their Trust and Safety(T&S) counterparts, as well as legal, policy, and engineering Point of Contact (POCs) to implement anti-abuse protection across new products and feature sets and ensure our platforms meet the needs of our users. You will also be responsible for planning requirements with internal customers and support projects through the entire project life cycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, enabling process excellence by unlocking efficiencies and communicating goals to project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute programs across T&S Insights and UX and partner teams like Product Areas and Engineering.
  • Support Product Areas in the integration of products into existing protection platforms and prioritize a growing list of new tools requirements.
  • Own and optimize processes to enable policy enforcement.
  • Lead large, cross-product initiatives focused on user safety.
  • Provide program management of business excellence efforts across T&S Data Science and Analytics, Core Infrastructure, and UX.
