Strategic Partner Development Manager, Performance and Privacy Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in partnerships management or business development in online advertising, data onboarding, or adtech.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree, or MBA, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring complex agreements with a proven track record of success in negotiation and execution.
  • Experience with Google's privacy-related/measurement products, (e.g., Enhanced Conversions, First Party Mode, Consent Mode, Value Based Bidding, Store Sales.
  • Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and the ability to balance engaging tasks and manage multiple time-sensitive projects/agreements in a fluid environment with limited direction.
  • Excellent investigative, project management and problem-solving skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Ads team under Knowledge and Information Partnerships (Search and Gemini, Geo, Ads, Commerce, Research and Core Partnerships) works on partnerships that support Google’s advertising products. The sub-team hiring for this role focuses on building innovative privacy-centric solutions through partnerships to drive ads performance.

Rising user expectations on privacy, technology changes and regulatory developments have impacted the way the ads ecosystem operates. We need to depend on a confluence of solutions and increased modeling, and keep evolving the way advertisers can bring their data into Google. External partners who can help power Google's solutions and drive advertisers adoption.

We looking for a candidate with experience with Google's Ads products (ideally privacy-related products) and a passion for business development.

Successful Strategic Partner Development Managers have strong partner management skills, attention to detail, contracting experience, analytical skills and commercial acumen.

In this role you will establish, nurture, and expand key partnerships to drive continued success for Google, our partners, and our advertisers. You will work closely with Product Management, Go-to-Market, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Finance organisations to implement impactful new partnerships and manage existing strategic relationships.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of Google advertising products and strategy, in particular Performance and Privacy-Centric-Measurement products.
  • Negotiate and sign agreements with key partners (e.g., tech companies, consultancies, advertising agencies) to support Google’s initiatives in the data/privacy/measurement space.
  • Manage relationships with some of our key partners in this space, work with them to activate and expand the coverage of these products, maintain operational excellence, (e.g., establishing success metrics and enabling partners to achieve them, enforcing service level agreements, tracking and processing payments, and reporting on key metrics
  • Collaborate with Partnerships team members and colleagues in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to grow these partnerships.
  • Drive strategic partnership growth plans, keep all stakeholders informed on key developments, and bring new opportunities to the partnership.
