Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in marketing/media, sales, business development, or consulting.
  • 3 years of experience with people management, leading and developing a business team, and managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • 3 years of experience working cross-functionally and developing business strategies.
  • Experience in research, insights, and strategy.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time domestically for executive engagements and customer meetings, as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing complex research teams, influencing CXO and agency executives to drive high-impact programs and strategic alignment.
  • Ability to combine big-picture goal with detail-oriented insights to solve problems and identify future market shifts and opportunities.
  • Ability to translate AI, Ads, and emerging technology into actionable business implications and forward-thinking industry perspectives.
  • Ability to lead research programs using multi-source data to craft compelling, simplified narratives for executive audiences across the global ecosystem.

As the Head of Strategic Insights, Industry Transformation and Research, you will be a leader responsible for defining and executing the Americas LCS strategy for sales-led research and thought leadership that helps drive cross-industry and multiple-vertical thought leadership.

In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of Strategic Insights Leads (SILs) and Research Leads focused on Google’s most ambitious cross-industry projects. You will oversee the creation of impactful go-to-market narratives that resonate with C-suite audiences, agency executives, and industry ecosystem leaders.

We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of insights and research leads and industry transformation specialists to deliver forward-looking, strategic business storytelling.
  • Advise on innovative, research-driven narratives for C-suite audiences, integrating cross-functional Google insights to elevate market perspectives.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to align thought leadership strategy with key business objectives and major growth bets.
  • Drive the future of sales-led research by leveraging AI, managing vendor partnerships, and identifying emerging market trends.
  • Scale high-quality insights across the Americas and present compelling, data-driven perspectives at major industry events and executive-level forums.
