Account Manager, Travel Ads, Large Customer Sales

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in senior level client relationship development and multi-market digital planning and execution management.
  • Experience in automation, ad serving and measurement platforms.
  • Experience in strategic, tactical digital advertising and feed based products.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder maps and build key relationships with customers across a wide range of levels.

As an Account Manager, you will be a thought leader on Google’s latest Travel Vertical Search innovations. Google Hotel Ads, currently the most established product in our Travel Vertical suite, will be your primary focus and is an exciting growth area in the Google advertising business. You will work alongside the UK Travel Large Customer Sales team and own a portfolio of Hotel Ads partner accounts, helping these clients to best leverage our Hotel Ads product in order to meet their business goals. The role provides opportunity to work directly with clients, as well as cross-functional teams internally, including Google Product and support teams. This is a great opportunity to work on significant growth areas and become a trusted partner to our customers as well as our internal Account and Industry Managers when it comes to planning, developing and defining Search strategy.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Hotel Ads business for UK Travel customers through excellent communication, detailed account management and innovative problem solving.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analysis and recommendations that align with client goals and quantify high-impact opportunities.
  • Broker relationships with the clients and identify new opportunities for clients to increase advertising scale and performance.
  • Help to develop Vertical Search business strategies in the UK.
  • Serve as a liaison between team and clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities focused on client objectives, whilst building and maintaining a strong knowledge of Google Hotel Ads within Google Ads.
