Analytical Lead, Apps Incrementality

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working closely with clients, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions together with insights and measurement.
  • Experience with online advertising (Search, Display, Video/TV), website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), or brand analysis techniques.
  • Experience performing marketing experiments, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analyses.
  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations or dashboards, and experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with brand and performance marketing and measurement solutions (e.g., MMM, Experiments, MTA, incrementality, etc.).
  • Proficient in the full cycle of incrementality testing, from strategic test design to accurate statistical inference.

Analytical Leads (AL) work on complex data and measurement issues where there are no standard solutions. Initiatives are often aligned to Google’s broader strategic bets, and ALs aim to generate insights that future-proof and advance client measurement capabilities. Uncover opportunities to drive Business Objectives using Google and client data, and quantifying customer business impact of Google media recommendations. Advance customer measurement maturity by building key measurement relationships at the client, coordinating the data activation strategy, and partnering with relevant tech/media solution owners internally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Use business insights, analytics, experimentation, and advanced measurement to partner with customers to drive business outcomes.
  • Leverage measurement methods and analysis to produce business-focused insights and help customers understand the value of media.
  • Test via experimentation and learning agendas, share learnings across sectors, and implement best practices with cross-functional partners.
  • Define a cross-media measurement standard that supports an accurate and fair measurement of performance for a customer's business.
