Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of administrative experience in a high-tech or international environment working on core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).
  • Experience with event coordination, program management, or stakeholder management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in budget management.
  • Ability to take initiative in solving operational issues.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality on all business matters.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.

As an Administrative Business Partner, you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Complete core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reporting, calendar management, facilities coordination).
  • Complete core program management tasks by delivering cross-functional, medium to large-scale projects or events from initiation through delivery.
  • Exhibit full knowledge of role. Utilize the ability to independently move projects forward in an ambiguous environment and determine corrective action for risks and obstacles in projects or events, serving as an escalation point.
  • Complete administrative and program management tasks with multiple approaches to reach an optimal solution, and with foresight to anticipate and address future issues.
  • Exhibit understanding of the supported business strategy and goals, resulting in recommendations for process and operational improvements. Establish exemplary trust with executives, stakeholders, and key cross-functional partners.
