Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience designing and implementing finance systems.
- 8 years of experience in full cycle SAP FI implementations and support projects.
- 8 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in SAP FI (S/4 HANA).
- Experience with asset accounting and project systems.
- Experience with SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, authoring functional specifications, system configuration, testing, etc.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.

The Finance Engineering Acquire to Retire team’s mission is to provide leadership and expertise in transforming Finance processes and systems related to Google’s Assets and Inventory, including Data Centers, Technical Infrastructure and Real Estate. Additionally, the team is responsible for pioneering new processes and solutions, and executing a continuous improvement road map in collaboration with business stakeholders, thereby addressing the escalating demands of a rapidly evolving business environment, notably accelerated by advancements in artificial intelligence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal finance business processes such as asset accounting and project systems.
- Provide expert level of business process guidance on SAP financial accounting requirements documentation, solution design, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution.
- Partner with business teams in developing delivery roadmaps, defining business processes and associated system requirements, and identify new areas of investment.
- Identify cross-functional topics and ensure the process are aligned across SAP modules and other supporting applications.
- Lead the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases relating to new systems or existing system changes.
