Product Manager, Agentic Productivity

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management, or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing intuitive user experiences that make complicated tasks feel easy and simple, ensuring users feel safe.
  • Ability to establish metrics and evals for subjective or generative experiences.
  • Ability to align stakeholders across teams to unblock dependencies and hit dynamic launch goals.
  • Ability to be comfortable diving into architecture decisions and system integrations.
  • Ability to navigate highly opinionated stakeholders, driving consensus without a lowest common denominator approach.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

We are shifting Google Search from just giving answers to actually getting things done seamlessly across sites and services. The Agentic Search team is building agentic features in AI Mode to handle the heavy lifting of complex journeys.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Bring tools like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive into AI Mode with a consumer-first mindset, ensuring the end-to-end experience is intuitive, seamless, and highly useful.
  • Meet users exactly when they need productivity help in context — like drafting an email to a partner right after booking a hotel, or automatically checking calendar availability to lock in a date night.
  • Partner closely with Workspace teams and other highly opinionated stakeholders to lock in shared technical approaches and ensure mutual product needs are met.
  • Build the underlying productivity frameworks that power other vertical and informational journeys, enabling teams in travel, dining, and beyond to easily leverage email and calendar capabilities.
