Cloud Infrastructure Health Operations Lead, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, business intelligence, management consulting, finance, or program management.
  • Experience managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, running business reviews, or goal setting.
  • Experience with data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence executive level decision-makers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or a relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience with data center infrastructure deployments and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) compute, storage, database, networking, security, and AI products.
  • Experience leveraging problem-solving skills (e.g., financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker) to influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
  • Experience in delivering reports and presentations, asking questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape.
  • Familiarity with data center capacity planning tools and concepts across space and power, compute and storage, and different machine types.

About the job

As a Cloud Infrastructure Health Operations Lead for Google Cloud, you will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on our key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for building and operating a data center consumption and performance management program, developing region expansion plans, and managing the rhythm of the business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives. The organization's goal is to align company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolve early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and operate a quarterly infrastructure performance management program by leveraging both internal databases and field research.
  • Design and operate financial models that incorporate data center business forecasting, customer, and product level consumption.
  • Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions, such as prioritization of growth opportunities, through scalable and actionable insights to increase productivity.         
  • Run and improve operations by launching new programs, goal setting, streamlining processes, automating tasks, identifying opportunities across the business, and optimizing resource allocation.     
  • Organize the design and implementation of business cadence to deliver effective operations and achieve key milestones.
