Executive Communications and Operations Manager, YouTube Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in communications within tech or marketing.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building and executing large programs at scale, with the ability to set goals and prioritize initiatives with minimal guidance and comfort with data.
  • Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders, and ability to work collaboratively across teams, functions, and levels.
  • Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects concurrently in a complex environment.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Executive Strategy and Operations (ESO) team enables YouTube Marketing to deliver exceptional marketing by empowering our leaders and driving operational excellence. As a member of the team, you will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, impact the organization’s biggest priorities, and help the organization build for scale, working in close partnership with our CMO, Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partners, and other Strategy and Operations leads.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own key executive communications and enablement channels, including developing the narrative and content for team-wide forums including All-Team, Directors and Manager Forums, onsites, and other strategic programming.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives that advance the team’s business and culture priorities (e.g., community, leadership development, learning, and execution) from vision and strategy to execution and reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders at all levels to actively represent the team’s work across channels including newsletters, leadership forums, executive briefings, and company/organization-wide town halls.
  • Drive and optimize an efficient communications workflow, actively owning the internal content calendar, incorporating real-time feedback from senior leaders, and ensuring all content reflects our brand, culture, and strategic priorities.
  • Build relationships across YouTube Marketing and the broader YouTube and Marketing communities to identify synergies and efficiencies to scale our work and impact.
