Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, compliance, or a related area.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes and cybersecurity.
- Experience with global compliance frameworks and accreditation (e.g., FedRamp High, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, AU-ISM, etc.).
- Experience working in public sector and regulated industries.
- Excellent communication skills in a fluid environment with multiple information channels.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
The security and compliance team is responsible for security of the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) platform as well as identifying technical, operational, and organizational compliance requirements that apply to GDC - across many international compliance programs and frameworks, including FedRAMP, ISO, SOC, Diffusion Restreinte, VS-NfD and more. The team then works with the appropriate engineering or operations teams to implement those security requirements in the GDC solution. Additionally, the team has primary responsibility for defining, documenting, and validating the core policies, procedures, and compliance artifacts necessary for GDC engineering to build and maintain compliant operable components and for operating partners to be "accreditation ready".

Responsibilities
- Identify technology and AI-driven strategies to improve security and compliance horizontal governance, risk and compliance efficiency (e.g., repositories and query and information orchestration tools).
- Drive compliance program strategy for GDC in public sector and regulated enterprise markets.
- Gather compliance requirements from public sector and regulated industry customers, and supply chain partners.
- Work cross-functionally with GDC GTM, Product Management, and engineering to support expansion of partner and customer programs.
- Be responsible for security and compliance Product Requirements Documents, problem statements, roadmaps and communication vehicles. Compile GDC compliance insights and feedback to infuse learnings into the security and compliance programs and roadmaps.
