Digital Marketing Strategist, Google Customer Solutions (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to contact local stakeholders from Google and outside of Google.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing insights, analytics, client management or consulting oriented projects driving customer success across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Understanding of media landscape and knowledge of Google’s advertising solutions or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and with project management, with a proven track record of driving complex business outcomes and customer solutions through collaboration.
  • Ability to demonstrate a data-driven approach when proposing solutions, providing actionable insights to customers.
  • Ability to create strategic programs to drive performance (e.g., product adoption plans, campaign optimization syncs).

About the job

gTech Global Customer Care (gGCC) is a solution-generating effort that helps our sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to troubleshooting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services and improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to help keep the lights on and the ads fresh.

The Customer Success Acceleration team (CSA), is part of the gTech Ads Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team within gTech. We work in close collaboration with the GCS team globally, specifically the Mid-Market Segment (MMS) Seller teams based out Americas, EMEA and APAC, helping define marketing strategy for advertisers and providing critical insights and support to help drive customer success.

Our primary objective is to drive Customer Success through strategic partnerships across MMS at scale, utilizing our team’s diverse in-depth cross-product expertise and customized client solutioning, helping advertisers achieve their customer/marketing objectives.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS), you will lead with insights to drive customer growth, be a trusted strategic adviser to your business partners, and leverage the full breadth of CSA’s solutions to drive impact at scale across your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Build essential knowledge about digital marketing/advertising, Google products, competitor offerings, and industry vertical and stay current in the advertising environment and competitive landscape through required training and other resources.
  • Develop growth plans for large advertisers through close collaboration with Account Managers/Account Executives to determine the optimal support for the client portfolio. Work with in-market cross-functional teams with some guidance.
  • Create and support multi-product solution promotions and collaborate with in-market Sales teams to create a growth strategy for potential advertisers with some guidance. 
  • Draw interpretable insights from deep dives and data analysis, provide data-driven tactical recommendations and business insights to clients based on analysis.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools in preparation to offer solutions for our clients' business. Report on key performance indicators.
