Cloud Program manager, Google Distributed Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management or project management.
  • 2 years of experience in either a management, or supervision or leadership role.
  • Experience working in technology or consulting companies.
  • Experience in building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading Private/Public Sector organizations or government clients through a technology transformation of building and operating legacy, on-premise software to running as a digital native in public cloud.
  • Experience with data center migration strategies and collaborating with channel partners and systems integrators.
  • Experience engaging product organization and influencing them to work on product features to drive the overall product strategy and roadmap.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Distributed ecosystem.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to design processes, implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred due public sector clients require security clearance.

Google Distributed Cloud is a portfolio of fully managed hardware and software solutions which extends Google Cloud’s infrastructure and services to the edge and into client's own data centers.

As a Cloud Program Manager, you will ensure successful transformation with Google Cloud. You will build executive relationships to understand business goals and lead strategic roadmaps. You will leverage your technical expertise, and you will guide customers in maximizing their Google Cloud investment. You will manage all aspects of cloud adoption, accelerate their journey, and act as primary advocate. This will lead to increased value, retention, and expansion of the Google Cloud footprint. You will also troubleshoot technical issues, advocate for customer needs, and contribute to improving the overall customer experience. This may require occasional non-standard work hours.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program management for customer's Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) programs, including planning, delivery, tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Cultivate executive relationships with key strategic customers to understand objectives and drive successful migration to GDC Product.
  • Maintain customer relationships at the executive level to ensure program success and achievement of financial and transformational goals.
  • Act as the primary customer advocate, driving feedback to product management and engineering to improve the production experience and prioritize product requirements.
  • Manage, build and nurture the post-sales relationship to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer while penetrating the account deeper. Guide customers through the innovation life-cycle, building strategic roadmaps and driving achievement of key milestones.
