Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 1 year of experience with Generative AI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with Generative AI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
  • 1 year of experience with machine learning (ML) infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

Our team is at the forefront of building the next generation of content ingestion solution. We are leveraging agentic AI solutions for content acquisition, utilizing Gemini to create a unique and trusted experience. This technology reduces data acquisition implementation from O(months) to O(hours) of new and optimized content to AIM/O.In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. Responsibilities

  • Develop data ingestion and processing solutions. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on system components.
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable agent AI solutions for high-value, real-world content acquisition use cases.
  • Gain an understanding of the Gemini Live and infrastructure. Optimize agent architecture/orchestration to ensure efficient deployment and operation at scale, with a focus on inference cost optimization.
  • Take ownership of AI quality for production systems. Define technical metrics, implement evaluation frameworks, analyze loss patterns, and drive improvements through strategic data collection and smart data generation and model enhancements.
  • Drive progress through rapid experimentation, proposing and validating hypotheses, implementing and testing new ideas, and iterating quickly to find optimal solutions.
