Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of people management experience.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in managing projects and collaborating across different teams.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and engineering managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Define the technical roadmap and strategy for the Kubernetes Infrastructure layer of the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) product line.
- Oversee the end-to-end development life-cycle, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Guide the team in integrating AI into their daily routines to maximize productivity.
- Work closely with GDC operators, SREs (Site Reliability Engineers), and other engineering teams to identify needs and deliver impactful solutions.
