Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in agreement structuring and analysis.
  • 8 years of experience in the Sports or Media industry.
  • 8 years of experience in business development.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Strong analytical and partnership skills both externally and internally.
  • Strong partnership skills, both externally and internally.
  • Exceptional communication, and presentation skills with the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to structure, analyze, and solve business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative agreement structures.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager for Sports Business Development, you will be a key driver for Business Development – focusing on partnership framework development for content partnerships with top sports properties across AVOD, TVOD, FAST, PPV, Primetime Channels and YouTube TV. You will have direct involvement with analysis and agreement discussions around potential sports partnerships, globally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify sports partners for YouTube's AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, PPV, FAST and PayTV services that support YouTube’s global priorities. 
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of constituents, particularly in product, marketing, sales, and legal, as well as with external partners. 
  • Represent YouTube’s interests in exploratory discussions.
  • Understand industry trends and market insights to adjust to changing opportunities.
  • Partner with and align global stakeholders across a diverse geographic and functional landscape.
