- 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:
- Analytical acumen with experience conducting deep-dive data analysis to translate complex metrics into business recommendations and upsell opportunities.
- Expertise in identifying emerging industry trends, analyzing consumer behaviors, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in the digital advertising landscape, emerging ad technologies, competitive market dynamics, and the modern media measurement ecosystem.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate globally/locally to solve intricate client challenges and deliver integrated marketing solutions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to transform abstract product features into high-value customer business outcomes.

As an Industry Manager within our Google's Ad Sales team, you will act as an executive strategic partner to our highest-visibility clients and agencies. You will drive significant customer business value and accelerate business generation growth by mastering the modern advertising ecosystem. You will operate as a domain thought leader, deeply understanding our clients' business models to craft tailored, data-driven advertising strategies. By building trusted, C-suite relationships and mobilizing cross-functional internal teams, you will deliver integrated solutions that turn complex client challenges into measurable business success.
In this role, your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities will shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your insight into how decisions are made, you will persistently explore and uncover the business needs of our key clients, understanding exactly how our comprehensive range of product offerings can scale and grow their business.
Responsibilities
- Identify, nurture, and influence key decision-makers and C-suite executives as a trusted advisor to shape their long-term business and marketing strategies. Design and deliver tailored, differentiated advertising solutions. Utilize compelling storytelling and data-driven insights to showcase unique competitive advantages that directly address customer challenges.
- Identify, assess, and size incremental business generation and growth opportunities within the market. Lead internal stakeholders to determine sales potential, marketing efficiencies, and recommended strategic investments.
- Lead deep-dive data analysis to extract actionable insights. Provide high-impact strategic recommendations to customers and internal leadership to optimize campaign performance and drive business change.
- Act as the primary escalation and strategic point of contact for premier accounts. Coordinate internal workstreams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.
- Own, develop, and execute strategic account plans for high-tier, complex clients to consistently meet and exceed business generation goals.
