About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee order management and drive on-time material delivery against Cloud’s forecasted capacity at Google’s network locations.
  • Balance supply and demand, proactively lead order re-prioritization to address competing demands, and influence inventory decisions to de-risk material fulfillment and mitigate long-term critical path issues (90-180 days).
  • Partner with global logistics, data center operations, and vendors to manage daily operational workflows, ensuring seamless on-time shipping and last-mile delivery that does not impact network capacity.
  • Lead open order book operational reviews with stakeholders, execute to meet key operational metrics, and leverage planning and ERP systems (such as O9, SAP) for day-to-day decision-making and root cause analysis.
  • Identify and implement project based improvements for the larger group to drive the organization’s long-term objectives.
