As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Safety and Assurance team's mission is to provide our workers the safest working environments through a safety management system and programs, and enable the organization to drive EHS process improvement and ensure regulatory compliance through an effective assurance program that provides the business with data, trends, and best management practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Mentor, develop, and lead a team across multiple Subject Matter Expert (SME) program areas. Motivate and lead with a teamwork first mindset that focuses on delivering the team and organizational missions through innovation and program service delivery.
  • Develop and implement a goal, mission, and strategy across a program portfolio that spans the Safety, Assurance, EHS Management System, and Technological Innovation programs. Provide expert guidance and oversight to ensure life-cycle EHS compliance to all covered technical infrastructure.
  • Define the goal, strategy, and landing of technological improvements across the Safety, Assurance, and EHS domains.
  • Oversee the effective contracting of third-party expertise and vendorization to drive efficient scale.
  • Develop, measure, and communicate key EHS performance indicators. Provide performance assessments to executive management and leaders. Recommend and implement performance improvement plans.
