Customer Solutions Engineer, gTech Ads Solutions Engineering (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with ad tech products - ad server, demand-side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), and web analytics and understanding of engineering solutions built for scale.
  • Experience working in the ad space first party data onboarding and activation, measurement and data modeling, video and search advertising.
  • Excellent business communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, team-work and leadership skills; analytical capabilities and demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven proposals.

The gTech Ads Solutions team takes a creative, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to provide consulting and solutions to advertisers. Within gTech Ads Solutions, the Ads Solutions Engineering (ASE) team leverages technology to build and scale advertising solutions to customers/agencies across industries and segments. Through technical implementation, optimization, and engineering solutions, we help customers/agencies achieve their business goals while building long-term tech and marketing capabilities.

As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will develop innovative solutions to the business problems faced by Google Customer Solutions (GCS) advertisers. You will have the unique opportunity to leverage your wide-ranging experience and skill-set to identify trends and develop groundbreaking new solutions to reach thousands of advertisers and drive business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build a series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be used by GCS customers globally.
  • Leverage engineering skills to design and scale complex, cross-product customized solutions to be rolled out to thousands of customers globally.
  • Collect requirements, provide guidance, best practices and innovative solutions to apply ad products and technologies and drive customer and business goals.
  • Experiment with new technologies to develop solutions where existing Google products cannot help.
