Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Operations, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in management consulting, or an operations-related function; or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree in business, accounting, or finance.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with accounting/finance ERP systems and business processes, as well as the system controls related to the processes.
- Experience with an extended workforce service provider in operations, source-to-pay, or other relevant area.
- Experience leading complex, global operational initiatives and system implementations in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage complex escalations in a timely and efficient manner, managing business and technical risks.
- Excellent process design, project management, and problem-solving skills.

The Finance Operations team manages Google's cash transactions on a global basis and ensures Google's incoming and outgoing cash processes are controlled, effective and efficient. Our mission is to design and implement global, scalable and compliant payments and procurement operations and systems. As a member of this team, you'll find innovative ways to transform the operations. You will work on making processes more efficient and scalable. In this role, you will mitigate risk by finding innovative, automated solutions to improve and standardize these complex sets of processes and systems. You will work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations by setting the goal and partnering with key stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Finance, and Legal as well as collaborating externally with our partners and banking institutions.

Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s global supplier enrollment, purchase order creation, invoicing, and payment operations executed by our partner in onshore and offshore centers, to deliver process excellence focusing on efficiency, quality, controls, and compliance to local regulations.
- Analyze data-sets to identify, prioritize, and address risks and opportunities, and drive standardization and continuous improvement.
- Identify, implement, and measure process improvements that enhance and optimize the control environment, consolidate bespoke processes, and scale with growth.
- Partner with various business and Finance teams to identify and gather business requirements, design solutions, and implement process improvements.
- Help create integrated system requirements, set priorities, determine constraints and dependencies, define timelines, allocate resources, write detailed functional and test specifications, evaluate design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations, and drive projects to completion.
