About the job

gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize outsourced operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. We advocate for informed decision-making, ensuring our partners find the right talent in the right locations. Our collaboration across Google leads to streamlined processes, minimizing administrative burdens and optimizing the extended workforce (xW) experience. We ensure Google's policies and guidelines are consistently adhered to.

You will be a part of a strategy team which works closely with the Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) Leadership Team and other exec leaders across the Alphabet on some of their most critical priorities. You will be asked to seperately lead projects and drive impact across key tactical questions for the business. This will require you to simplify and effectively communicate these problems, advocate and test stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the business. Due to the nature of our fluid business, you will understand business context, be comfortable with ambiguity and changing directions mid-way, prioritize and quickly recognize what is most critical. You are a collaborative, data-driven, investigative problem solver who is able to effectively lead and manage multiple work streams, projects, and stakeholders across time zones on a global scale.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives for xWS, identify and structure business problems and effectively communicate core issues.
  • Gather data and conduct analyses supporting on-going hypotheses and generate actionable insights. Develop recommendations and translate them to projects and initiatives.
  • Engage and influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners, obtain buy-in for potential solutions, adapt messaging and suggested recommendations based on feedback.
  • Drive the execution of multiple initiatives simultaneously, address and resolve potential issues and concerns. Launch organizational change management plans for mid- to long-term initiatives.
  • Communicate, engage and collaborate with partners across Google, ranging from Product Areas (PAs), cross-functional partners, working team members and executive leadership.
