Senior Engineering Manager, Customer Lifecycle Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, design, and optimizing infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • 5 years of experience building and deploying systems models in production and experience building architecture in different modeling domains.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a balanced and productive work environment for the team, following the company and organizational values.
  • Drive strategy, goals and execution of the team's mission.
  • Keep alignment with organization priorities, and create visibility for the team's work.
  • Provide team management, technical mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development. Establish and maintain excellent collaboration by the team with cross-functional leads.
  • Own the Product linking and Manage at Scale areas, including building scalable Infrastructure, Advertiser facing Critical User Journeys and exploration to build feature roadmap.
