- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience as a sales engineer or technical consultant in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field.
- Understanding of Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS terminology.
- Ability to clearly articulate and present Google Workspace value to senior audiences CxOs, Line of Business, and technology stakeholders of partners and customers’ organizations.
- Demonstrated record of working in a similar position (e.g., Technical Sales Engineer, Partner Engineer, etc.) in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer or partner-facing role (including working as a member of a Professional Services, Solutions Architect or Systems Engineering team).

As part of the APAC Google Workspace Customer Engineering (CE) team in this rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers journey and leveraging partners, enabling them with your business and technical expertise so that they can help shape the future of work and digital workplace of our joint customers.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Support the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
- Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure in order to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
