Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product, or as a test Engineer.
- 4 years of experience with optical design, metrology and integration.
- Experience with optoelectronics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
- Experience with emerging/experimental technologies (for example, MRAM, Photonics, RSFQ).
- Understanding of statistical process control and process improvement, including implementation.

With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Employ existing and invent novel metrology methods to drive exceptional process development of monolithic display technology.
- Work with external tool suppliers for both new equipment development and improved problem-solving capabilities.
- Use best practices for metrology and measurement tool control and improvement, including driving a routine calibration program, measurement systems analysis (including gage roles and responsibilities), and SPC.
- Aid in the early adoption of best practices in process control by documenting techniques, train technicians and engineers, and engage in continuous improvement of metrology procedures.
- Drive understanding of toolsets and analyses to make the most out of measurement data while also minimizing impacts to cycle time.
