Strategic Partnership Development Manager, Strategic Health Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, or channel development.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience leading and supporting healthcare partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting partner development for complex, large-scale cross-Product Area (xPA) global health ecosystems.
  • Experience identifying, creating, negotiating, and implementing effective business development agreements.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (providers, government, or payers) and developing digital health products from concept to market launch.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, navigate ambiguity, and to adapt partner strategies to meet the changing demands of external partners.
  • Ability to synthesize emerging industry themes into actionable strategic insights that inform product direction.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you will drive business development and partner management activities across the entire solution development lifecycle. You will serve as the primary liaison between Strategic Health Solutions (SHS) and key North America healthcare partners, establishing and nurturing relationships to advance strategic priorities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, clinical, product, data science, and legal, across multiple Product Areas (PAs) and external organizations.

The Strategic Health Solutions team brings together leading health technologies from across Google, including AI/LLM models and distinct health product offerings. In this role, your work spans from identifying high-impact partners to collaborating with Product on co-creation design sessions and partnering to drive solutions through to launch. You will proactively prioritize partners within the health ecosystem and develop targeted engagement strategies to cultivate mutually beneficial collaborations.

You will be managing complex partner initiatives internally across Google and with external collaborators. You will synthesize key partner priorities and emerging themes to inform product strategy and foster cross-functional alignment.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$262,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary business liaison between Strategic Health Solutions and key North America healthcare partners, establishing relationships that advance SHS strategic priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize potential partners with high-impact solutions. Develop and execute engagement strategies and ecosystem initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners to define compelling value propositions and use cases that demonstrate the impact of health solutions on specific industry pain points.
  • Partner with product to lead selected partnerships from initial co-creation through solution launch, facilitating joint sales initiatives and implementing metrics to measure partnership success and impact.
  • Synthesize key partner priorities and emerging themes into strategic insights, sharing them across SHS to inform product roadmaps and foster cross-functional alignment.
