Strategic Agency Manager, Google Customer Solutions (English, Romanian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Romanian fluently to support client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and competitive promoting.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, and in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of agency business models, growth, and new business acquisition for agencies.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in a Sales context.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.

About the job

The Agency Partnership team drives customer success by partnering with a wide range of digital-first media agencies in Romania.

As the Strategic Agency Manager, you will focus on C-level stakeholder relationships and co-create business growth strategies with a portfolio of agencies by identifying and executing opportunities for growth. You will focus on increasing digital capabilities and strengthening long-term commercial growth partnerships within the GCS agencies, driving scalable business growth and product adoption across the broader portfolio of agency-managed accounts.

You‘ll also develop the acquisition and promote capabilities of assigned agencies across all levels of the organization in order to enable sustainable business growth for all parties.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business growth product objectives, grow agency business by driving scalable product adoption and growth across a broad portfolio of Agency clients.
  • Own a portfolio of agencies by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Work towards long term goals on new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering positive experiences to Google's agency partners.
  • Manage primary agency relationships, including Media Planners and Buyers.
  • Shape the agency program by being a thought partner for the Agency Lead on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
