Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to grow in a fluid environment with investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and areas for improvement, and to operate in a fluid environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to condense complex written materials into concise talking points.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) teams in developing and executing a strategy for consistent and meaningful engagement with key stakeholders (e.g.,policymakers, think tanks, NGOs, academics, business customers, industry leaders, etc.).
  • Manage the process for development, tracking, communicating and updating of the stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Support the GAPP team to plan and execute engagements between Google executives, government officials and other policy stakeholders, including event planning (first-party and third-party events) and executive visits to the region.
  • Play a key role in coordinating, composing, consolidating and editing written materials, such as briefing documents, letters, and talking points.
  • Support the Government Affairs and Public Policy team in public affairs operations and projects, including some external representation of Google and our work in-country.
