Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.

About the job

As a Senior Manager, Android Partner Compliance Server (APCS), you will act as the chief operating/strategy officer for 2 APCS businesses that serve both Agency and Partners and ALCS Sector/Geos. You will partner closely with APCS leadership and will drive planning, define priorities for the Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization in line with ALCS, and ensure these priorities land operationally. You will also lead projects for the ALCS organization you partner with.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market sales strategy and execution APCS’s Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Solutions and Thought Leadership teams (~200 sellers), in partnership with Managing Directors.
  • Manage annual business planning with key partners including headcount management. Facilitate communication and decision-making with leaders and teams.
  • Oversee multiple ‘pillars’ simultaneously and design organization-wide processes to ensure long-term goals are being defined and met.
  • Lead projects at APCS-wide scale that shape the future operating model and support long-term business priorities, including but beyond the scope of Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Standard Template Library (STL).
  • Build, manage, and coach a team of Strategy and Operations Managers and Analyst functions.
