Vendor Launch Manager, YouTube Creators

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience identifying issues in processes and creating solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in dealing with ambiguity, achieving results in a fast-paced environment and continually adapting to changing business needs.
  • Experience managing budgets and with business planning processes.
  • Expertise in program/project management on cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels including executive leadership team, peers and managers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including modeling and presentation skills, and ability to create dashboards and manage complex dashboard integration.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for building and implementing exceptional Vendor launches to support the success of YouTube Creators. You will manage the complete lifecycle of YouTube vendor operations. You'll work on YouTube products to enable support for creators across channels. You'll develop detailed knowledge of our constantly evolving product suite to ensure that user feedback flows to the stakeholders/Product team and fuels innovation. In this highly cross-functional role, you will represent our Creators and problem-solve with internal teams. You'll process suggestions, issues, opportunities, and other product/experience information to ensure we are constantly improving the Creator experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the right set of documents to plan, track, launch, implement, and refine launches for Creators Vendor Operations. Partner with other team members in Business Operations & Strategy to develop exceptional launch management processes.
  • Be responsible for Operational launches across the organization until they are stable. Design and implement a successful launch feedback process to deliver launch success after the new project has launched.
  • Supervise vendor performance, understand issues, troubleshoot problems and escalate when needed for getting the right support from YouTube to be successful.
  • Consolidate data and produce Vendor and Team performance reports to present to senior management (e.g., WBRs, MBRs, QBRs). Budget supervision and tracking.
  • Synthesize analysis to deliver actionable, insightful, data-driven recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, risk-coverage-quality, impact analysis, etc.).
