Strategic Partner Development Lead, Ad Impact Measurement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience using or building Marketing Mix Models (MMM), Sales Lift, Brand Lift, or Multi-Touch Attribution products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with a Product Management team to create and execute a complementary Partnership Strategy.
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience partnering with Ad Measurement Vendors, Measurement focused Agencies or Ad Measurement focused Consultancies.
  • An understanding of the Google Ads business and the ecosystem of marketing mix model providers.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Ad Impact Measurement team is a part of Global Ads Partnerships focused on quantifying the efficacy of Google Ads for our largest brand advertisers. Our mission is to prove ROI to brand advertisers via partnerships that enable privacy-safe and accurate outcomes measurement on google media. We do so by discussing win-win partnerships, by strategically managing partner relationships to drive growth and innovation, and by ensuring execution excellence in the products that we support.

As the Strategic Partnership Development Lead, Ad Impact Measurement, you will need to exceed at discussions, strategic relationships, execution, and leadership. You will design and update a framework for partner communications, advertiser engagements and co-marketing across partner types (Measurement Vendors, Agencies, Infrastructure Partners) and implementations. You will hold our partners accountable for delivering study outcomes and benchmarks in performance and ensure that they drive our desired business outcomes. Additionally, you will play a leadership role in a global cross-functional team, interacting with business leads from each region and specialization to ensure that we are executing and consistently improving.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with our legal team to design contractual templates and one-off agreements in support of the partnership program, co-marketing initiatives, integrations with measurement providers, consultancies and agencies and data licenses.
  • Design partner communications and ensure that they are distributed consistently and in a manner that drives desired results. Monitor partner relationships globally to understand areas of excellence, needs for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Hold partners accountable for delivering study outcomes and benchmarks in performance and ensure that they drive our desired business outcomes.
  • Develop the expertise on mix marketing models and market alternatives to build credibility internally and externally. 
  • Represent the Global Ads Partnerships team cross-functionally in internal executive reviews with sales and product.
