Senior Technical Program Manager, Cloud Supply Chain Planning

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technical programs from initiation to completion.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, CI/CD, and engineering productivity metrics.
  • Experience with managing health and tracking of a large portfolio of programs.
  • Expertise in both re-designing processes and deploying supporting automation.
  • Outstanding executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will be the primary driver for cultivating a development lifecycle within Supply Chain Planning that is seamlessly efficient and inherently innovative. You will be responsible for defining the strategy and leading the execution of programs that optimize our development capabilities enhance our development tools, and ultimately accelerate the delivery of high-impact supply chain solutions. You will lead cross-functional programs, engage with senior leadership, and ensure that our engineering organization operates at peak performance and foresight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the holistic portfolio management process for ASCII (Alphabet Supply Chain Intelligence and Innovation) , defining and managing the intake, prioritization, and resource allocation for all engineering initiatives.
  • Establish and manage a robust reporting framework, creating dashboards and metrics to provide leadership with clear visibility into program status, engineering health, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize, automate, and continuously improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across the ASCII organization. Implement metrics and dashboards to track and enhance engineering health, productivity, and developer velocity.
  • Own the portfolio of engineering tools, including program and portfolio management systems. Partner with engineering to drive the evaluation, implementation, and integration of new tools to improve efficiency and engineering experience.
