SoC Power Architect, Silicon

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Tensor Flow, Android or IOS frameworks (e.g., TFLite / CoreML).
  • Experience with Compiling, running and analyzing Machine Learning Models on Android or iOS.
  • Experience in Python or other programming language.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with pre/post Silicon performance, power projection or correlation methodologies.
  • Experience with AI/ML accelerators for mobile, architecture and performance.
  • Experience with frameworks like DarwiNN or Xeno.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Product Privacy Assessment (PPA) characterization and analysis for Google and participant System on a Chip (SoCs), including but not limited to power breakdowns, power/performance benchmarking, IP-level power, use case power and performance, thermals, power efficiency, etc.
  • Benchmark Google SoCs Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Power and Performance with participant SoCs.
  • Create custom AI/ML microbenchmarks to surface architecture bottlenecks.
  • Perform breakdowns of participants device’s to enable IP level power measurements and analysis.
