Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a technology contracting, legal, or sales operations environment.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- Experience discussing enterprise agreements with customers and cross-functional internal business partners.
- Leadership experience, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA, JD or equivalent legal education.
- Understanding of one of the regulatory environments (e.g. healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, etc.).
- Ability to build organizations from ground up and to lead operational initiatives.
- Ability to inspire, lead and influence cross-functionally with a user-first mindset.
- Ability to lead technical conversations ideally around SaaS and IaaS technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with sound business judgement with the ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner.
About the job
As a part of the Deal Pursuit team, you will structure and negotiate agreements between Google Cloud and its customers, serving as a core partner to Sales teams in achieving goals and accelerating business. In this role, you will bridges the customer business needs with Google’s products capabilities, developing solutions for high-visibility business issues in collaborating with Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Accounting (Revenue Recognition), Finance and Sales Operations teams.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. - Manage a team of commercial and contractual negotiators based across North America (retail and Canada markets).
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the North American sales leaders on accelerating the business in negotiation with customers and through internal processes.
- Represent Google in the negotiations with our largest and most demanding customers.
- Collaborate with key leaders across internal stakeholder groups to create automated and policy-based solutions that enable the expedient closure of agreements while balancing the interests of customers and Google.
- Influence other commercial operations functions that are aligned with North America and Deal Pursuit, including Sales Support, Documentation of Policies, Change Management and Enablement, and Order Management and Product Fulfillment.
