Occupational Health, Safety and Incidents Programs Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Occupational Health, Organizational Psychology, Safety Science/Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in occupational or organizational health, psychology, or EHS, or related project/program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in development and administration of the training curriculum using a learning management system.
  • Experience with Occupational Health/EHS recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of global (e.g., federal, state, and local) occupational health and safety regulations.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to develop, transform and maintain our Global Occupational Health Strategy focusing on Psychosocial Risk Assessment, Investigation and Case Management programs, including standards and operating procedures for the identification, assessment, reporting, investigation, case management and corrective/preventive action across all global Occupational Health programs.
  • Understand, document, and perform regulatory research in support of program compliance and consistent implementation. Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient program functionality.
  • Develop and implement plans to enhance capabilities with respect to global psychosocial and organizational risk and root cause determinations, and other relevant program aspects in partnership with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regional teams and key business stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of global psychosocial risk assessment in partnership with regional EHS teams and respective business stakeholders with reporting process.
