Senior Product Manager, Developer AI Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Ability to synthesize information into a compelling strategic narrative for audiences.
  • Ability to land cross-functional products or transformations in an organizational environment.
  • Ability to define and track metrics for adoption, velocity, and success, ensuring data-driven strategic decisions.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Developer AI (DevAI) Solutions team is at the forefront of Google's internal software development transformation. The team's mission is to accelerate AI-powered software development by making it faster and easier for product areas to realize the value of Google's innovative AI offerings.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will define and execute the strategic idea and roadmap for landing AI journeys. You will be responsible for ensuring that agentic solutions are technically innovative and strategically aligned with the evolving AI ecosystem.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Qualify new opportunities benefiting from the evolving AI ecosystem, identifying high-impact AI journeys (e.g., migrations, testing, bug fixing) and how they integrate into the broader Google engineering ecosystem.
  • Stay industry current with the internal and external AI landscape (e.g., LLMs, agentic frameworks, developer tools).
  • Define the success metrics and strategic blueprints for agentic workflows across different product areas.
  • Act as the primary liaison between product area leadership, DevAI product teams, and engineering counterparts to ensure strategic alignment and support.
  • Ensure that technical solutions translate into realized productivity gains and cultural transformation across Google.
