Director, Data Analytics Go-to-Market, Industry and Regions

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in a sales/business development function.
  • 10 years of experience selling IT solutions to companies.
  • 10 years of experience leading and scaling teams, including experience in a SAAS environment.
  • Experience working with engineers and customer technical leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for implementation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience and deep understanding of selling the Data Analytics technology stack.
  • Experience working with product teams and an understanding of how to embed our technology into their product set.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience in leadership growing and scaling sales organizations, including experience in new market builds.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud and Google Cloud Data Analytics offerings.
  • Ability to effectively engage and influence executive stakeholders at the CDO/CXO level as a business advisor and thought leader in Data Analytics.

About the job

As the Director of Data Analytics (DA) Go-to-Market Industry and Regions for North America, you will grow our North America AI Industry business by building and leading teams who are working to sell and deploy our data analytics solutions. You will develop and own the go-to-market plan to scale the North America industry/regions business, and effectively build relationships internally (e.g., sales, sales engineering, product) and with external customer stakeholders, identifying innovative ways to multiply the impact of the team as a whole.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $198,000-$285,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop, advance, and finalize business pipelines, Data Analytics bookings, and business generation. Oversee the creation of strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key verticals.
  • Attract, hire, and develop talent to build scale. Be a key contributor to data analytics go-to-market North America Sales leadership teams.
  • Lead a fast-paced organization of specialized, senior Sales leaders across multiple verticals and regions. 
  • Create alignment across multiple functions, including Marketing, Customer Engineer Managers, Partners, Field Solutions Architects, and Data Analytics Product Engineers.
  • Own CDO/CXO relationships with key strategic customers. Manage teams focused on C-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.
