Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
  • 7 years of experience in coding, software development, technical consulting, or a related engineering role.
  • 2 years of experience with building Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience in atleast one programming language and AI dev tools (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 7 years of experience architecting and delivering end-to-end solutions in a cloud environment (GCP, Cloud Computing Platform).
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud-native distributed systems, developer tools, or AI/ML workflows in an enterprise environment.

About the job

As a part of the Developer and Experiences team in Google Cloud, you will empower customers to build secure and reliable applications by providing a compelling end-to-end experience and underlying enterprise-grade platform.

As a part of a new team acting as the "Human API" for accounts. You will take a technical engineering position with end-to-end ownership of the customer's technical success and realized business outcomes. You will bridge the "last mile" gap, ensuring that our AI developer tools deliver tangible, sustained value, directly informing our product roadmap based on real-world usage.

You will have a unique opportunity to directly enable our objectives: fostering a growing Google developer ecosystem, creating delightful Day Zero experiences for builders, and ensuring well-lit, secure paths for agents and applications on Google Cloud.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$263,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer's entire technical journey from initial engagement through sustained success by rapidly architecting, prototyping, and implementing bespoke solutions to "last mile" technical gaps, ensuring the realization of specific business outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary technical conduit between customer usage and the core engineering roadmap by systematically codifying field learnings and bespoke solutions into reusable product patterns, translating them into high-fidelity, scalable product requirements and feature requests for internal teams.
  • Acquire and convert high-value accounts into successful long-term adopters and users, measuring success by customer outcomes, including adoption growth, usage lift (MAU/DAU), and subsequent business generation and expansion.
  • Convert customers into passionate advocates by ensuring technical and business outcomes are met while cultivating relationships, driving Advocacy Score improvements (NPS/CSAT) and enabling references for marketing and future customer engagements.
  • Ensure end-to-end technical success in customer environments, focusing on the secure and scalable building, deployment, and operation of AI agents and applications on Google Cloud.
