Director, Product Management, Google Global Networking and Infrastructure

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in product management or related technical roles for networking products.
  • Experience operating in a hyper-growth/entrepreneurial environment and scaling new and emerging products from the ground-up.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in developing and executing a strategic vision and roadmap for a product portfolio to achieve industry leadership in next-generation cloud-based software and services.

About the job

As the Director of Google Global Networking & Infrastructure (GGN&I), you will be responsible for providing portfolio vision, building strategy and product roadmaps, and working with a cross-functional execution team to enable GGN&I. You will develop and execute a strategic vision and roadmap for a product portfolio to achieve industry leadership in next-generation cloud-based software and services.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic vision for the GGN&I portfolio to constantly innovate and implement novel solutions for next-generation cloud-based software and services.
  • Define and lead a multi­-year product roadmap, balancing short­- and long­ term goals and investments.
  • Build the team and product in order to get ahead of the exponential demand and ensure the pace of growth and success is sustainable.
  • Work across the teams that build, design, implement, and maintain our telecom products that span product portfolios.
  • Manage, build, and scale the product organization. Mentor and help the team grow into positions of influence and scale.
