Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or in a related technology field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience reviewing agreements and contracts in a technical environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree, MBA, JD or other advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience working with internet products and technologies.
- Experience building AI agents and using AI agents for day-to-day work to help increase productivity
- Experience drafting, negotiating and approving contracts.
- Excellent investigative, problem-solving and presentation skills to executives, with good storytelling on impacts and value-adds..
- Excellent communication, leadership, management, collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment, and attention to detail, with the ability to operate in a fluid, dynamic environment.
About the job
As a Technical Deal Consultant, you will be one of the technical representatives from the Google Technical Services team (aka: gTech), working closely with Product, Legal, and Business Development teams. You will have a solid insight into internet technology and a grasp of its impact on our agreements and contracts in order to adequately advise the wider team. Detail focused and conscientious, you are equally comfortable reading the fine print of technical contracts as you are driving a team toward a common goal, working to meet dynamic deadlines to help Google realize critical business agreements while managing overall technical risk. You should be comfortable to use and experiment with AI and build AI agents in the day-to-day work for increased productivity, and comfortable presenting in front of executives on strategy and impacts of your work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate between internal teams to gain feedback and insight into deals and initiatives.
- Advise business development and technology management teams, as well as legal teams, on risks around technical solutions and service level commitments.
- Work with key stakeholders to create, draft, and communicate implementation standards and associated contract language to facilitate smoother operations and improve decision making. Review and approve technical contract terms
- Comfortable using AI and other efficiency tools in your day to day work for increased productivity
- Strategy storytelling to an executive audience on impact of the work.
