  • Experience managing sales teams (including managers).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or a Master's degree.
  • Experience effectively leading through transitional periods of growth, disruption, or uncertainty to bring needed change.
  • Market experience in Greater China.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to identify, attract, and develop talent.
  • Skilled in deriving insights from varied datasets and metrics dashboards.

With a rapidly growing array of sales teams, it's important to have knowledgeable, charismatic leaders to guide our client sales teams. As a Sales manager, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management.

As Director of Scaled Sales, you will anticipate market trends, identify customer needs, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. You will be central to setting the strategy for China and work with other team leads to align on the vision for Greater China. You will set high standards and define the sales culture, assess the structure and strategy of the business, and be a thought leader. You will define how to optimize growth and drive team performance and product/solution enhancements to deliver an excellent client experience and business performance at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Set high-level priorities and overhaul the Greater China onboarding strategy to deliver an experience while consistently meeting quotas.
  • Attract, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of people managers and experts focused on seamless client execution.
  • Partner with New Business Sales, Regional Sales Strategy & Operations, and Product & Solutions Activation teams to analyze market trends and graduate top customers into same-store sales programs.
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships to align onboarding with the broader business and nurture growth into Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams.
  • Drive Google’s ads footprint across all products and channels by leveraging deep Greater China market insights to navigate unique regional challenges.
