Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
- 3 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to define requirements and manage technical projects.
- Experience with data analysis, domain critical KPIs, and reporting/dashboarding.
- Ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Excellent technical process analysis skills to translate business requirements into comprehensive solution design.

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.
As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will primarily be responsible for the GCP/TI Program and Project Management systems, entailing coordination across multiple teams. You will be developing generic application system integrations that drive project and portfolio management, resource management systems, efficiencies for Google's technical infrastructure covering integrations with other first-party and third-party systems services, as well as tracking and tracing and data management.
In this role, you will work on a variety of generic projects and cross-functional teams throughout the organization. These projects may encompass new technologies and the integration or implementation of both proprietary and third-party applications that supports project and portfolio and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership over projects, continue to track and maintain progress, mitigate risks, manage unpredictability, keep teams and clients updated, and manage stakeholders and escalations, coordinate testing, and work with Engineering teams to deploy applications all the way to launch.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define the product requirements by conducting workshops to build robust solutions for business problems.
- Design medium-complexity solutions independently, collaborate with Lead Business Systems Analysts on solution designs, and partner with internal business teams and Application Engineers to successfully implement solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation for system solution designs, configurations, test strategy, test plans, and issue resolution.
- Work with business teams and Lead Business Systems Analysts to contribute to product roadmaps.
